What started as a focused solo build has grown into a mission-led studio serving learners, families, educators, and potential institutional partners. Our approach blends pedagogy, AI, and product design to build tools that improve literacy and creative confidence.
The name 3AM Wave reflects the focused hours in which many of these ideas were first built, tested, and refined. Today that same focus is directed toward one goal: making AI genuinely useful for social good in education and child development.

He founded 3AM Wave. He is a senior technologist and systems architect with 25+ years of experience building large-scale, mission-critical platforms across financial services, logistics, and enterprise software. He has held leadership roles at Discover Financial Services, Symantec (Veritas), Maersk, and OpenText, and has advised high-growth startups on architecture and platform design.
His expertise lies in designing distributed systems that operate reliably under demanding constraints of scale, performance, and security. Over time, he has developed strong judgment around how complex systems behave in production—how they fail, and how to design guardrails for safety, resilience, and long-term maintainability.
In recent years, his focus has shifted to applied AI, particularly integrating large language models into real-world workflows. His work emphasizes multi-stage reasoning, structured knowledge use, and human-in-the-loop validation to ensure outputs are reliable and explainable.
He holds multiple U.S. patents and is particularly interested in helping teams navigate emerging technologies—separating real value from hype and translating complex trade-offs into practical, production-ready decisions.
